  • 1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 810 slices White Bread

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then dry thoroughly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream cheese on high until fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Add heavy cream, vanilla, and powdered sugar; whip until stiff peaks form.
  4. Stir in lemon zest until well mixed.
  5. Spread cream mixture on bread slices; layer strawberries on half.
  6. Add more cream over strawberries, top with another slice of bread, and gently press together.
  7. Score a diagonal line on each sandwich for cutting guidance.
  8. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and place something heavy on top to compress; refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
