- 1/2 cup softened butter

- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 5 TBSP milk
- 2 TBSP corn syrup
- 1 tsp almond extract
- red food coloring
- blue food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy. Add the egg, sour cream, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually add flour, baking soda, and salt; beat until smooth.
- Spread the dough evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Bake for about 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow cooling completely before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk to create the base layer of icing.
- Add red and blue food coloring to separate portions of icing for decoration; swirl as desired.
