  • 1 tsp espresso powder
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • For the glaze: 3 cups powdered sugar, 1/3 cup milk, 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix vanilla, eggs, sour cream, milk, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients; fold in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Fill the donut molds three-quarters full and bake for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool slightly before transferring to a rack. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Dip each donut in the glaze and allow it to set.
