Ingredients

  • Turkey bacon
  • Yellow onion
  • Green bell pepper
  • Celery
  • Garlic
  • Beef steak
  • Chicken thighs
  • Chicken breast
  • Diced tomatoes with chilies
  • Cream of chicken soup
  • Cream of mushroom soup
  • Pasta (farfalle or penne)
  • Chicken broth
  • Water
  • Creole seasoning
  • Fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, heat turkey bacon with onion, bell pepper, and celery until softened.
  2. Add minced garlic and continue cooking for 3 minutes.
  3. Incorporate cubed beef steak and sliced sausage; brown for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Stir in cubed chicken, diced tomatoes with chilies, Creole seasoning, and thyme. Cook for 15–20 minutes.
  5. Add water, chicken broth, cream soups, and browning sauce; simmer for another 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in dry pasta and bring to a boil.
  7. Turn off heat, press pasta down into the liquid, cover with a lid.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F for 1 hour without lifting the lid.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving; garnish with chopped green onions.
