  • 70 g de sucre muscovado
  • 1 œuf
  • 250 g de farine
  • 1 pincée de sel
  • 1 cuillère à café de cannelle moulue (facultatif)
  • 250 g de noix de pécan (2/3 hachées / le reste entières)
  • 70 g de beurre pommade
  • 50 g de sucre muscovado
  • 15 g de fécule de maïs
  • 3 œufs
  • 1 cuillère à café d’extrait naturel de vanille
  • 200 g de sirop d’érable
  • 1 belle pincée de fleur de sel

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by creaming softened butter with muscovado sugar until smooth. Add an egg and mix well. Incorporate flour and salt to form a dough. Chill in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours.
  2. Roll out the chilled dough and fit it into a tart pan. Pre-bake the crust for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  3. Toast pecans in the oven at 170°C for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool.
  4. Cream softened butter with muscovado sugar and cornstarch; add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well before folding in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour filling into pre-baked crust and top with whole pecans; sprinkle fleur de sel on top.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 30-40 minutes until set.
