  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups high-quality chicken or turkey broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter (softened for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread in a dry pan at 250°F for about 1 hour until crisp but not browned.
  2. While bread is toasting, chop onions and celery.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; sauté onions and celery until soft.
