  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 16 ounces dried spaghetti
  • 16 ounces marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 2.25 ounces canned sliced black olives
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, olive oil, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 2-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Cut provolone cheese into circles and place them atop each meatball after removing from the oven.
  6. Add one slice of black olive on each provolone circle for the eyeball effect.
  7. Return the tray to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts slightly.
  8. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
  9. Warm marinara sauce in a pot and combine with spaghetti.
  10. Serve spaghetti topped with eyeball meatballs.
