  • 100 g softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g flour
  • 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 150 g nut nougat cream
  • 300 g dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add egg, salt, and vanilla paste; mix well.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, and optional gingerbread spice. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture along with the milk until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  4. For the filling, mix cream cheese and nut nougat cream until smooth. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces and combine with the filling.
  5. Shape the mixture into forms that fit your silicone mold and insert ice cream sticks.
  6. Melt dark chocolate and dip each cakesicle until fully coated. Set on parchment paper to harden.
  7. Decorate with sugar eyes and red chocolate lentils.
