Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 3 tbsp white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1.5 cups Oreo pieces (about 12 Oreos)
  • 1/2 cup Oreo crumbs (about 5 Oreos)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake filling by mixing room temperature cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter with brown and white sugars until mixed well. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and fold in Oreo pieces and crumbs gently.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, take two tablespoons of dough, flatten it slightly, add cheesecake filling in the center, fold the dough over it, then roll into a ball.
  6. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets about two inches apart and bake for about 14 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
