  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup vegan yogurt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse legumes under cold water. Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Chop herbs finely, setting some aside for garnish.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, sauté diced onion in a splash of vegetable broth until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
