  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch pan (or two 8×4 inch pans).
  2. In a small bowl, mash the bananas with brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Cream softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs until fully incorporated.
  5. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt; add to the butter mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the mashed banana mixture gently.
