  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion (diced)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes (don’t drain)
  • 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 12 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onion for 5 minutes until translucent; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  2. Add ground beef to the pot, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, and water.
  4. Add Italian seasoning, sea salt, and black pepper to taste; bring to a simmer.
  5. Add uncooked bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in ricotta cheese until creamy. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses before serving garnished with fresh parsley.
