6 Chicken quarters
½ apple
¼ cup soy sauce
2 inch ginger
4 cloves of garlic
2 stalks of green onion
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp sweetener (sugar)
1 tsp pepper
Sesame Seeds (Optional, for topping)
Instructions
Prepare the marinade by mixing soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener, grated ginger, minced garlic, and pepper in a bowl. Add finely chopped green onions and grated apple to the mixture.
Coat the chicken quarters in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
Remove excess marinade from the chicken and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for about 25 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), flipping halfway through.
Let the chicken rest before serving; optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
