  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil

  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray lightly with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix in the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, one egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring. Mix until well blended.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Spread the cheesecake mixture over it evenly and top with the remaining brownie batter. Swirl together gently using a knife.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
