  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pineapple by cutting off the top and bottom, removing the rind, and slicing it into 3/4 to 1-inch thick spears or rings.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, dark brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. Place the pineapple in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium heat (375-400°F). Grill the marinated pineapple for about 4-6 minutes per side until caramelized, brushing with leftover marinade while cooking.
