  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup white granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar for streusel topping
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted) for streusel topping
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour for streusel topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for streusel topping
  • ½ cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • ¼ cup honey for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix canned pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, white granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, all-purpose flour, and ground cinnamon for the streusel until crumbly.
  6. Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared baking dish; sprinkle half of the streusel topping on top. Add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the streusel.
  7. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. While cooling, whisk together powdered sugar and honey until smooth, then drizzle over the bread before serving.
