  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned (about 6–8 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (optional), and season with salt and pepper; cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream; simmer for 5–7 minutes to thicken.
  6. Gradually add Parmesan cheese until melted; incorporate mozzarella until smooth.
  7. Toss cooked rigatoni into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
