  • 3 (8 ounces) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (14.5 ounces) cans beef broth
  • 1 (14.5 ounces) can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounces) can dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounces) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces dry ditalini pasta
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes.
