  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Red and green sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine white cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well blended.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  4. In a saucepan, heat cranberry sauce, water, and sugar until dissolved. Cool slightly.
  5. Poke holes in the cooled cake using a toothpick about 1 inch apart.
  6. Pour the warm cranberry mixture over the poked cake to soak through.
