Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips, cut into bite-sized strips
  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the rotini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and add steak tips in a single layer. Season with Cajun spices and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add heavy cream and whole milk. Stir in softened cream cheese until melted and smooth. Gradually mix in grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella.
  4. Return cooked rotini to the skillet with the cheese sauce, gently folding in seared steak tips. If needed, add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
