  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ⅓ cup Pumpkin Puree

  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown; let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together browned butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough balls onto parchment-lined baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden; cool on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks.
