  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c heavy cream
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c chopped pecans
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit until frothy.
  2. Mix flour, salt, and white sugar in a stand mixer; add yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Cover dough and let rise until doubled in size (about 30 minutes).
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread melted butter and sprinkle with sugars and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly into a log; cut into equal pieces.
  6. Prepare caramel sauce by combining butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and cream in a saucepan until dissolved.
  7. Pour sauce into a greased baking pan; top with pecans and arrange sticky buns on top.
  8. Let rise again for 30 minutes before baking at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
