  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté diced onions until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine uncooked rice, chicken broth, milk, sautéed onions/garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme; stir well.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken, carrots, peas, and half of the cheese until combined.
